适应症：
Hiberix适用于二个月大以上婴儿的主动免疫反应，以预防B型流行性感冒嗜血杆菌所引起的疾病。
剂量：
1、 基础疫苗接种时间为于出生后的六个月内接种二剂。为确保产生长期的保护作用，建议于出生后的第二年追加一剂。
2、 六至十二个月大间的婴儿，若先前未曾接种过此疫苗，则应间隔一个月接种两剂，并于出生后的第二年追加一剂。一至五岁，先前未曾接种过此疫苗的儿童，应接种一剂。
用法：深部肌肉注射
1、与其它疫苗一样，对急性严重发烧性疾病患者，应延后接种Hiberix。但轻度的感染现象则非接种疫苗的禁忌。
2、 Hiberix可与Infanrix（三合一疫苗）一起使用。
流行性感冒B型嗜血杆菌引起的上呼吸道感染主要是藉由直接接触或呼吸道吸入病原菌而感染，症状如发烧、头痛、咽喉炎、肌肉酸痛、虚弱等，其感染途径及产生疾病症状与一般常见流行性感冒病毒所引起的类似，一至二岁婴孩感染，严重时会引起脑膜炎，所以一般建议五岁以下的小孩都能施打型嗜血杆菌疫苗。

Hiberix(Haemophilus b Conjugate Vaccine; Tetanus Toxoid Conjugate) is a powerful vaccine indicated against a particular type of the influenza virus. The influenza virus is the virus that brings in the flu. It has multiple forms. Some of them can be prevented with the basic vaccines you take every year, while others require additional vaccines. Besides, some of them are not even significant if you don’t live in an area where the virus is spread. They are usually taken when people are about to travel in a potentially dangerous area. This form of vaccine combats the Haemophilus B form.
The virus is transmitted through the saliva, whenever someone coughs or sneezes. It can also be transmitted by touching the stuff an infected person did. It initially infects the throat and the lungs, then it spreads through the blood to other organs. In the end, it causes meningitis or respiratory problems. These conditions are often fatal.
Hiberix (Haemophilus b Conjugate Vaccine; Tetanus Toxoid Conjugate) prevents all these problems. The patient gets a dose of the virus, but small enough to be harmless. The organism immunity system will then manage to develop protection against it, preventing the further infections. This vaccine is prescribed for the kids aged 2 to 4 only. Just like any other vaccine, it is not always effective.
Administration
Hiberix (Haemophilus b Conjugate Vaccine; Tetanus Toxoid Conjugate) is usually given in 2 or 3 shots. In most of the cases, 2 shots are enough. Each of them has to be taken in a hospital or a clinic. You will need 2 months between them. Sometimes, the patients require a third dose, another 2 months later. With all these, this is a general schedule. It may be changed, according to the patient’s situation.
Unlike other vaccines, this one can be taken if the patient experiences fever or cold. These symptoms will not affect the vaccine effectiveness.
Try to stay alert and not forget about any dose. If you somehow miss it, call your doctor immediately. You will most likely have to get it as soon as you remember about it. The overdoses are less likely to happen since the vaccine is administered by a professional.
Contraindications
Hiberix (Haemophilus b Conjugate Vaccine; Tetanus Toxoid Conjugate) is contraindicated in the patients out of the age range. It is completely ineffective. Various disorders or diseases must be mentioned to the doctor before prescribing the vaccine. Include the blood, neurological or immune system problems.
