Dermik Laboratories (a division of sanofi-aventis) announced the launch of the BenzaClin (clindamycin 1%-benzoyl peroxide 5% gel) Carekit for acne patients who want to add a moisturizing agent to their skin care regimen. The BenzaClin Carekit features the 50g BenzaClin pump packaged with 20 ampules of the moisturizer, Viscontour Serum.
BenzaClin is a topical, prescription acne treatment that combines the antibiotic clindamycin with the antibacterial/keratolytic benzoyl peroxide. Viscontour Serum is a topical hyaluronic acid that acts as a natural moisture reservoir for the skin.
