Cyanide Antidote Kit
The combination of Sodium Nitrate and Sodium Thiosulfate is the best therapy against cyanide and hydrocyanic acid poisoning. The 2 substances intravenously injected, one after the other (nitrite followed by the thiosulfate) are capable of detoxifying approximately 1 lethal dose of sodium cyanide and is effective even after respiration has stopped. As long as the heart is still beating, the chances of recovery by utilizing this method are very good.

Each Cyanide Antidote Kit contains:
2 Ampules of Sodium Nitrate USP injection, 300mg in 10mL of water for injection
2 Vials of Sodium Thiosulfate USP injection, 12.5g in 50mL of water for injection. Boric acid and/or Sodium Hydroxide are added during manufacture to adjust the pH.
12 Ampules of Amyl Nitrate inhalants USP 5 min (0.3mL)
This kit also contains:
