Effects of this medicine
This medicine has effect of prompting intestinal peristalsis moderately and laxative property. It is also used as source of energy by being absorbed and transformed to glucide.
It is usually used to speed up the procedure or prevent constipation in radiographic contrast. It is also used as nutritional support.

For speed up the procedure or prevention of constipation in radiographic contrast: In general, take 13 to 27 mL (10 to 20 g of the active ingredient) for 100 g of barium sulfate, adding to radiographic contrast agent. Strictly follow the instructions.
For oral nutritional support: Take an appropriate amount as needed. Strictly follow the instructions.
If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
