Antipruritic (nonsteroidal).

Active Ingredient(s):

Aluminum-magnesium hydroxide stearate, cetyl dimethicone copolyol, cyclomethicone, dimethicone, hexyl laurate, polyglyceryl-4-isostearate; crm; contains phenoxyethanol and propylparaben; dye- and fragrance-free.

Indication(s):

Dermatitis. Dry skin.

Pharmacology:

Dermatitis is a general term that covers several disorders that result in the inflammation of the skin. Dermatitis caused by contact to an allergen or irritant may be treated with Tetrix due to its ability to act as a barrier against these antigens. Tetrix helps to relieve dry, waxy skin by maintaining a moist wound and skin environment which is beneficial to skin healing.

Clinical Trials:

Tetrix was evaluated in a non-randomized, investigator-blinded, controlled study involving 35 patients with known sensitivities to nickel sulfate, neomycin, and/or a mixture of fragrances. Study data demonstrated that Tetrix acts as a barrier against these three antigens, when compared to antigen alone and white petrolatum, for up to 48 hours after application.
