传明酸是一种蛋白酶抑制剂，能抑制蛋白酶对肽键水解的催化作用，从而阻止了如发炎性蛋白酶等酶的活性，进而抑制了黑斑部位的表皮细胞机能的混乱，并且抑制黑色素增强因子群，再彻底断绝因为紫外线照射而形成的黑色素发生的途径。即让黑斑不再变浓、扩大及增加，从而能有效地防止和改善皮肤的色素沉积。
适用症：
凝血剂
在医学上应用于动脉瘤蜘蛛网膜下出血诊治，学界称之为断血炎作为凝血剂用途，诊治过程意外发现有使肌肤变白的副作用，所以利用在肝斑治疗和黑色素沈淀的药用处方签。传明酸的美白机制是同时且迅速的抑制酪胺酸脢酵素和黑色素细胞的活性，并且防止黑色素聚集的情况，能阻断消弭因为紫外线照射而形成黑色素恶化的行进路径。在快速美白疗程中以传明酸成分为主搭配维生素C磷酸脂镁盐APMg，而资生堂以经皮吸收方式将传明酸应用于淡化斑点的美白成分。
近年来，传明酸是一种在保养品上已获得专利权的美白成分。多年的临床研究已证实传明酸能速效地美白及淡化斑点，令肌肤呈现白皙柔润、明亮晶透的完美肤质。

Effects of this medicine
This medicine exihibits anti-hemorrhagic/anti-inflammatory effects by suppressing the activity of plasmin engaged in various bleeding symptoms.
It is usually used to treat symptoms as follows:
・bleeding tendency considered to be due to systemic hyperfibrinolysis
・abnormal bleeding considered to be due to local hyperfibrinolysis
・erythema/swelling/itch observed in eczema/hives/drug rash/toxicoderma
・sore throat/redness/congestion/swelling observed in tonsillitis/pharyngitis,
・pain inside the mouth in stomatitis
・aphtha (ulcer) in oral mucous membrane

Dosage regimen (proper use of this medicine)
Your dosage regimen is:(order of your doctor)
General dosage regimen: For adults, take 3-8 tablets (750-2,000mg of the active ingredient) in 3-4 divided doses a day. The dose may be adjusted according to your age and symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
Missed dose: Take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
Overdose: If you took too much of this medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.
Others: Do not stop taking this medicine without the instructions of your doctor.
