莫西普利（ｍｏｅｘｉｐｒｉｌ）是一种不含巯基的前体药物，ｐｏ给药后水解成具有活性的代谢物ｍｏｅｘｉｐｒｉｌａｔ－一种血管紧张素转化酶抑制剂ｐｏ生物利用度２２％，用药后２ｈ达到峰浓度，消除半衰期为１０ｈ。莫西普利每日每次ｐｏ７．5ｍｇ或１５ｍｇ能有效地降低原发性高血压病人的血压。其与卡托普利、氢氧噻嗪、阿替洛尔，美托洛尔，维拉帕米缓释剂和尼群地平等的降压效果相
氢氯噻嗪联用的降压作用显著强于各自单用时。

Moexipril Generic Name: Moexipril (moe-EX-ah-prill)Brand Name: Univasc
Moexipril can cause injury and possibly death to a developing fetus when used after the third month of pregnancy (during the last 6 months of pregnancy). Contact your doctor at once if you suspect that you are pregnant.
Moexipril is used for:
Treating high blood pressure. It may be used alone or with other medicines. It may also be used to treat certain conditions as determined by your doctor.
Moexipril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by decreasing certain chemicals in the body that cause blood vessels to constrict (narrow) and sodium and fluid to be stored by the kidneys.
Do NOT use Moexipril if:
you are allergic to any ingredient in Moexipril
you have had a severe allergic reaction (eg, a severe rash, hives, breathing difficulties, or dizziness) to another ACE inhibitor (eg, enalapril) or similar medicine
you are pregnant
Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if any of these apply to you.
Before using Moexipril :
Some medical conditions may interact with Moexipril . Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:
if you are planning to become pregnant or are breast-feeding
if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement
if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances
if you have bone marrow depression, heart problems, lupus, kidney or liver problems, low blood volume, low blood sodium levels, high blood potassium levels, or scleroderma (thickening to the skin or other tissues), or are on a sodium-restricted diet
if you are having an allergic reaction, vomiting, or diarrhea, or are on dialysis
Some MEDICINES MAY INTERACT with Moexipril . Tell your health care provider if you are taking any other medicines, especially any of the following:
Indomethacin, rifampin, or salicylates (eg, aspirin) because the effectiveness of Moexipril may be decreased
Clozapine, cyclosporine, indomethacin, pergolide, phenothiazines (eg, thioridazine), or thiazide-type diuretics (eg, hydrochlorothiazide) because side effects such as kidney failure may occur
Clozapine, cyclosporine, indomethacin, lithium, mannitol, phenothiazines (eg, thioridazine), potassium preparations (eg, potassium chloride), potassium-sparing diuretics (eg, spironolactone), sulfonylureas (eg, glipizide), thiazide-type diuretics (eg, hydrochlorothiazide), or thiopurines (eg, azathioprine) because the actions and side effects of these medicines may be increased
This may not be a complete list of all interactions that may occur. Ask your health care provider if Moexipril may interact with other medicines that you take. Check with your health care provider before you start, stop, or change the dose of any medicine.
How to use Moexipril :
Use Moexipril as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.
Take Moexipril 1 hour before meals, on an empty stomach.
Do not take Moexipril within 4 hours of dextran sulfate.
If you miss a dose of Moexipril , take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
Ask your health care provider any questions you may have about how to use Moexipril .
Important safety information:
Moexipril may cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting. Do not drive or operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you react to Moexipril .
Before you have any medical or dental treatments, emergency care, or surgery, tell the doctor or dentist that you are using Moexipril .
Dizziness or lightheadedness may occur if you stand up too fast from a lying or sitting position. Avoid sudden changes in posture.
Do not use a salt substitute without checking with your doctor.
Patients being treated for high blood pressure often feel tired or run down for a few weeks after beginning therapy. Continue taking your medication even though you may not feel quite "normal." Contact your doctor or pharmacist about any new symptoms.
Black patients are at higher risk for certain side effects and may not respond as well to Moexipril as patients of other races.
LAB TESTS, including kidney function and blood pressure monitoring, may be performed to monitor your progress or to check for side effects. Be sure to keep all doctor and lab appointments.
PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: When Moexipril is used after the third month of pregnancy, it can cause injury or even death to the developing fetus. Stop taking Moexipril as soon as possible if you become pregnant. If you think you may be pregnant, contact your doctor immediately. It is unknown if Moexipril is excreted in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you are using Moexipril , check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
Possible side effects of Moexipril :
All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome:
Diarrhea; dizziness; fatigue; flu-like symptoms; lightheadedness when sitting or standing; persistent, dry cough.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur:
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); chest pain; difficulty swallowing; fainting; unusual stomach pain; yellowing of the skin or eyes.

If OVERDOSE is suspected:
Contact 1-800-222-1222 (the American Association of Poison Control Centers), your local poison control center (http://www.aapcc.org), or emergency room immediately. Symptoms may include dizziness; low body temperature; weakness.
Proper storage of Moexipril :
Store Moexipril at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Moexipril out of the reach of children and away from pets.
