药理作用：
TussiCaps结合阿片类镇痛药，二氢，与H1受体拮抗剂扑尔敏。氢可酮是一种镇痛药，镇咳，中枢神经系统的影响及半合成可待因的衍生物。氯苯那敏是一个具有抗胆碱能和镇静活性抗组织胺剂。它可以防止毛细血管扩张释放并导致呼吸道粘膜水肿组胺。

成人：
一帽（10mg/8mg）每12小时，最大：2caps/24hrs。

儿童：
<6yrs：见禁忌症。 6 - 11yrs：1帽（5mg/4mg）每12小时，最大：2caps/24hrs。

禁忌（补）：
儿童<6yrs岁（致命的呼吸抑制的风险）。


警告/注意事项：
呼吸抑制。后运。肺部疾病。头部受伤。颅内压增高。青光眼。哮喘。 GI或顾阻塞。急腹症。严重肝或肾功能损害。甲状腺功能减退。阿狄森氏病。老人。虚弱。劳动和交付。妊娠（Cat.C）。哺乳母亲：不推荐。

互动（补）：
中枢神经系统抑郁症，酒精添加剂，其他中枢神经系统抑制剂，三环抗抑郁药，单胺氧化抑制剂。麻痹性肠梗阻并发抗胆碱能药物。

不良反应（补）：
恶心，呕吐，中枢神经系统和呼吸抑制，输尿管，膀胱括约肌痉挛，胸闷，滥用的可能性，抗胆碱作用，皮疹，搔痒。

Indication(s):

Cough and upper respiratory symptoms.

Pharmacology:

TussiCaps combines the opioid analgesic, hydrocodone, with the H1 receptor antagonist, chlorpheniramine. Hydrocodone is a semi-synthetic codeine derivative with analgesic, antitussive, and CNS effects. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine agent with anticholinergic and sedative activity. It prevents released histamine from dilating capillaries and causing edema of the respiratory mucosa.

Adults:

1 cap (10mg/8mg) every 12hrs; max: 2caps/24hrs.

Children:

<6yrs: see Contraindications. 6–11yrs:1 cap (5mg/4mg) every 12hrs; max: 2caps/24hrs.

Contraindication(s):

Children <6yrs of age (risk of fatal respiratory depression).

Warnings/Precautions:

Respiratory depression. Post-op. Pulmonary disease. Head injury. Increased intracranial pressure. Glaucoma. Asthma. GI or GU obstruction. Acute abdomen. Severe hepatic or renal impairment. Hypothyroidism. Addison’s disease. Elderly. Debilitated. Labor & delivery. Pregnancy (Cat.C). Nursing mothers: not recommended.

Interaction(s):

Additive CNS depression with alcohol, other CNS depressants, tricyclic antidepressants, MAOIs. Paralytic ileus with concurrent anticholinergics.

Adverse Reaction(s):

Nausea, vomiting, CNS and respiratory depression, ureteral and vesical sphincter spasm, chest tightness, abuse potential, anticholinergic effects, rash, pruritis.
