Aldex AN Chewable chewable tablets is used for:
Preventing or treating symptoms of hay fever or other allergies such as runny nose, sneezing, itching of the nose and throat, and itchy,
watery eyes.
Aldex AN Chewable chewable tablets is an antihistamine.
It works by blocking the action of histamine, which reduces the symptoms of an
allergic reaction.
Do NOT use Aldex AN Chewable chewable tablets if:
you are allergic to any ingredient in Aldex AN Chewable chewable tablets
you are taking sodium oxybate (GHB)
Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if any of these apply to you.
Some medical conditions may interact with Aldex AN Chewable chewable tablets. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical
conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:
if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding
if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances
if you have lung or breathing problems such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic bronchitis, emphysema, lung disease, shortness of breath, or sleep apnea
if you have glaucoma or increased pressure in the eye; a blockage of the stomach, intestine, or bladder; an enlarged prostate gland; or
difficulty urinating
if you are taking a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (eg, phenelzine)
Side effects include:
Drowsiness.
