Some medicines may interact with Zyvox. Inform your doctor or other health care provider if you taking any medicine that may interact with Zyvox, especially any of the following: Apraclonidine, meperidine, or tryptophan because the risk of serious side effects or toxic effects of these medicines may be increased by Zyvox. Amphetamines like dextroamphetamine, anorexiants like phentermine,sibutramine; or sympathomimetics like dopamine, epinephrine, pseudoephedrine etc. because the risk of serious side effects, including severe headache, fever, or high blood pressure, may be increased. Bupropion, COMT inhibitors (entacapone),levodopa,norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (atomoxetine), serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (duloxetine), or SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) like fluoxetine, because the risk of serious side effects, including severe fever, mental or mood changes, or muscle problems, may be increased. Possible Adverse Effects of Zyvox All medicines may cause some side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Inform or consult your doctor if you experience any of the common and mild side effects of Zyvox and any of them become troublesome or persistent. The common and mild side effects of Zyvox are constipation, nausea, vomiting, headache, bad taste in mouth, diarrhea, dizziness, tongue discoloration, trouble sleeping (insomnia) etc. Get immediate medical attention if you experience any of the serious side effects of Zyvox.
