【适应症】用于各期原发型高血压、肾性高血压、充血性心力衰竭
【用量用法】
口服：常用剂量每日１０～４０ｍｇ，分２～３次服。原发型高血压：每次２０ｍｇ，每日１次。充血性心力衰竭和肾性高血压：每日１０～４０ｍｇ，起始量为每日１０ｍｇ，剂量视治疗效果调节，般每次２０ｍｇ，每日１次。
【注意事项】
1.少病人有低血压或体位性低血压、眩晕、头痛、恶心、腹痛、皮疹、虚弱、血管神经性水肿、咳嗽、血尿素氮增高、血肌肝过高等不良反应。有些病人还出现血红蛋白减少、白细胞减少、转氨酶升高等。2.用药后循环血量减少、出现钠离子滞留、腹泻、呕吐等不良反应，慢性高血压病人，可用等渗氯化钠注射液补充血容量。3.肾功能不全的病人，其剂量可根据肾损害情况确定。4.血压正常的充血性心力衰竭病人，用药后如出现低血压现象，应减量或中止给药。5.本品与交感神经阻断剂和神经节阻滞剂合用，应谨慎。6.本品与某些β－受体阻滞剂并用，能增强本品的抗高血压作用。7.本品与钾盐和含钾药物合用，会引起高钾血症。

エナラプリルは心臓や血管に病気のある動物に対して、血管を収縮させるホルモンや成分を減らすように働きます。

・ACE抑制剤は血管拡張剤であり、血管の弛緩に影響します。また、有毒な化学物質やホルモンの濃度を減らし、心不全の可能性のある動物の心筋へのダメージを減らします。

・エナラプリルは処方薬であり、獣医師によって処方されるものです。

エナラプリルの使用：
エナラプリルの主な使用法ですが、心不全の治療や予防に用います。また、高血圧の治療にも用います。

注意と副作用：
一般的には安全で効果的なものですが、中には副作用を起こす動物もいます。
この薬に過敏、アレルギーのある動物への使用はやめてください。
エナラプリルは他の薬との相互作用を起こすことがあります。他の薬を使用しているような場合は、まず獣医に相談して下さい。フロセミド、スピロノラクトン、非ステロイド、抗炎症の薬などが相互作用を及ぼす可能性のあるものです。
エナラプリルは血管を弛緩させ、低血圧の状態に作用するようにさせます。
まれですが、エナラプリルは腎不全につながる腎臓への血液供給に影響することがあります。これは犬や猫に薬を過剰に使用した場合に見られるものです。また、腎臓病を持っている動物にフロセミドなどの利尿薬を使用した際にも同じようなことになります。
副作用には食欲減退、排尿、吐き気、虚弱、突然の傾眠なども含まれます。これらの症状が出た場合は獣医に伝えて下さい。
副作用はエナラプリルが利尿薬や他の血管弛緩の薬とともに用いられたときによく起こります。

エナラプリルの種類：
エナラプリルは2.5mg、5mg、10mgの錠剤があります。

使用の際には：
・薬は使用前に必ず獣医に相談してからにして下さい。
・犬には1ポンドごとに0.25mg（1kgごとに0.5mg）を1日1回か2回経口で与えるのが一般的です。
・猫には1ポンドごとに0.12－0.25mg（1kgごとに0.25―0.5mg）を1日1回か2回経口で与えるのが一般的です
・心不全や高血圧の治療をする際にはエナラプリルとともに他の薬も用いることが多いですが、その場合は、少量をまず与えて問題がないかどうかを確認してから本格的な使用を開始して下さい。
・使用期間はそれぞれ動物の状態によって異なります。獣医から処方された量はしっかりと最後まで使用するようにして下さい。仮に、動物の症状が改善された場合でも、処方の量は再発予防のためにもしっかりと使い切って下さい。

Do not use this medication without telling your doctor if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy. Stop using this medication and tell your doctor right away if you become pregnant during treatment.Vomiting, diarrhea, or heavy sweating can cause you to become dehydrated. This can lead to very low blood pressure, electrolyte disorders, or kidney failure while you are taking Generic Vasotec (Enalapril Maleate). Drink plenty of water each day while you are taking this medication.

Do not use this medication if you are allergic to Generic Vasotec (Enalapril Maleate) or to any other ACE inhibitor, such as benazepril (Lotensin), captopril (Capoten), fosinopril (Monopril), lisinopril (Prinivil, Zestril), moexipril (Univasc), perindopril (Aceon), quinapril (Accupril), ramipril (Altace), or trandolapril (Mavik).If you have any of these other conditions, you may need a dose adjustment or special tests to safely take Generic Vasotec (Enalapril Maleate):kidney disease (or if you are on dialysis);liver disease;heart disease or congestive heart failure;diabetes; ora connective tissue disease such as Marfan syndrome, Sjogren's syndrome, lupus, scleroderma, or rheumatoid arthritis.FDA pregnancy category D. What happens if I miss a dose?
