性状

用法用量

Effects of this medicine
This medicine dilates the bronchi to allow easier breathing.
Patients with bronchial asthma use this medicine when they develop an asthma attack.
It is usually used to improve symptoms (breathing difficulty, etc.) of bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, or pulmonary emphysema.
Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist
•If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
•If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
•If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
•Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is <<to be written by a healthcare professional>>
•In general, for adults, inhale 2 puffs (20 mcg of active ingredient) at a time, and for children, inhale 1 puff (10 mcg of active ingredient) at a time. The dosage may be adjusted according to your disease, age, or symptoms. Strictly follow the instructed dosing schedule. The maximum dosage is restricted to 4 times daily (8 puffs for adults and 4 puffs for children).
•Follow the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist, and read the instruction leaflet carefully before using this medicine (the instruction leaflet is written in Japanese only).
•Patients with bronchial asthma should use this medicine only when they develop an asthma attack. This medicine cannot treat airway inflammation.
•Shake the inhaler well before using and press the button firmly at the time of inhaling. The inhaler contains 100 puffs. Do not use the inhaler after the dose counter reads "0".
•On a new inhaler the dose counter reads "102". Remove the cap and shake the inhaler well. First spray 2 puffs into the air until the dose counter reads "100" before using. Do not drop the inhaler on the floor, since this may cause the counter to indicate an incorrect number due to the impact.
•Always gargle after inhaling this medicine.
•Never inhale 2 doses at one time.
•If you accidentally use more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
•Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
Precautions while taking this medicine
• Possible adverse reactions to this medicine
The most commonly reported adverse reactions include palpitation, tachycardia, tremor, headache/dull headache, nausea/vomiting, rash and itch. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
•cold sweat, decreased blood pressure, respiratory distress [shock]
•swelling around the eyes or mouth, hives, respiratory distress [anaphylaxis]
•lassitude, respiratory distress, dry mouth [serious decrease in serum potassium]
The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
Storage conditions and other information
•Be sure to put the cap back on the mouthpiece after inhaling and place the inhaler in the carrying bag.
•Do not disassemble the body of the inhaler (other than removing the cap and the mouthpiece). Do not wash the body of the inhaler with water.
•Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight and heat.
•If there is a remainder, this is to be discarded. Do not store it.
