DUROLANE contains 20mg/ml of stabilised, non-animal hyaluronic acid (NASHA) in buffered physiological sodium chloride solution pH7.
Durolane is used in the treatment of osteoarthritis and is injected into the knee or hip joint to reduce pain and increase mobility. It works by restoring the lubricating and shock-absorbing properties of joint fluid, which are depleted in osteoarthritis.
It is based upon a natural, safe and proven technology called NASHA (stabilised hyaluronic acid). Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring molecule that provides the lubrication and cushioning in a normal joint. Durolane is a transparent gel which contains high levels of HA (Hyaluronic Acid) . It is injected into joints affected by osteoarthritis to relieve pain, restore lubrication and cushioning which improves joint function and helps to restore quality of life.
Durolane Injection - 1X3 mL Syringe
Durolane is used to treat pain and increase mobility in the knee or hip joint of an individual with osteoarthritis. Durolane can provide relief for up to 6 months with one treatment.
