脂类调节剂 -Lovaza Caps(Omega-3-acid ethyl esters)
“Lovaza”是一种特别的鱼油脂类调节剂，葛兰素史克药厂研发，目前被美国食品药品管理局（FDA）唯一批准为饮食辅助药物以降低成年患者的甘油三酸脂（³ 500 mg/dL）水平。Lovaza 每胶囊1克，含有 465 mg EPA，375 mg DHA，折算成900 mg omega-3脂肪酸乙酯 。

Indications for LOVAZA:
Adjunct to diet to reduce very high (≥500mg/dL) triglyceride levels in adults.

Adult Dose for LOVAZA:
Swallow whole. ≥18yrs: 4g daily; may take as 4g once daily or as 2g twice daily.

Children's Dose for LOVAZA:
<18yrs: not established.

Pharmacological Class:
Lipid-regulating agent.

Warnings/Precautions:
Hepatic impairment: monitor AST/ALT periodically. Obtain baseline triglycerides (TG); monitor TG, LDL-C periodically. Exclude and/or treat secondary causes of hypertriglyceridema (eg, hypothyroidism, diabetes, medications). Paroxysmal or persistent atrial fibrillation. Fish allergy. Pregnancy (Cat.C). Nursing mothers.

Interactions:
May potentiate anticoagulants; monitor.

Adverse Reactions:
Eructation, dyspepsia, rash, taste perversion; increased ALT, AST, LDL-C.
