Taxotere是一种类毒素类化疗药物，该药可以固定细胞内以微管构成的细胞骨架系统从而抑制癌症细胞的分裂。微管在细胞的分裂周期中经历聚合和解聚等过程，Taxotere促进微管的聚合但是阻碍它的解聚，因此许多癌症细胞分裂停止并导致细胞死亡。
