It is usually used to treat tachyarrhythmia, hypertensive emergency and unstable angina, and for emergency treatment of malignant hypertension during operation. Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist •If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines. If you have hypotension, cardiogenic shock, second-degree or higher atrioventricular (AV) block, sick sinus syndrome (with persistent sinus bradycardia at less than 50 beats/minute, sinus arrest, sinoatrial block, etc.), congestive cardiac failure or cardiomyopathy. •If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding. •If you are taking any other medicinal products. Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine) •Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is <<to be written by a healthcare professional>> •Tachyarrhythmia (supraventricular): In general, for adults, this medicine is given by intravenous injection slowly over approximately 3 minutes. Emergency treatment of malignant hypertension during operation: In general, for adults, this medicine is given by intravenous injection slowly over approximately 1 minute. If it is given by intravenous drip infusion, your doctor decides the infusion rate and time monitoring the blood pressure. Hypertensive emergency, unstable angina: In general, for adults, this medicine is given by intravenous drip infusion. The infusion rate and time depend on your symptom. Precautions while taking this medicine • Possible adverse reactions to this medicine The most commonly reported adverse reactions include bradycardia, decreased blood pressure and AV block (skipped pulse beats). If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist. The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets.
