It also suppresses thrombus formation by antiplatelet action and improves blood flow by vasodilation. It is usually used to improve ischemic symptoms such as ulcer, pain and chilly sensation caused by chronic arterial occlusion, and prevent recurrence of cerebral infarction (except for cardiogenic embolism) after its event. Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist •If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines. If you are bleeding (hemophilia, capillary fragility, intracranial hemorrhage, gastrointestinal bleeding, urinary tract bleeding, hemoptysis, vitreous hemorrhage, etc.). If you have congestive heart failure or a plan for surgery or tooth extraction. •If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding •If you are taking any other medicinal products. Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine) •Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is <<to be written by a healthcare professional>> •In general, for adults, take 2 packets (100mg of the active ingredient) at a time, 2 times a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to disease, age and symptoms of the patient. Strictly follow the instructions. •Open the packet and take the contents only. •Read the instruction, <患者さんへ (For the patients)>, about the way to open the packet (This instruction is written only in Japanese). Take this medicine immediately after opening the packet and discard the liquid left in the packet. DO NOT take this medicine besides oral administration. •If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time. •If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist. •Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so. Precautions while taking this medicine •Do not take grapefruit juice and the medicine together as the components of it may intensify the effect of the medicine. •In case of bleeding, blood may not clot quickly. If bleeding time is prolonged or the injury involves a large area, immediately visit the hospital. •Be sure to tell your doctor that you are taking this medicine if you undergo surgery or dental treatment. Possible adverse reactions to this medicine The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash, skin rash, hives, itch, photosensitivity, erythema, palpitation, frequent pulse, glow, headache, dull headache, dizziness, insomnia, numbness, sleepiness, tremor, stiff shoulder, faint/transient loss of consciousness, abdominal pain, nausea/vomiting and diarrhea. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist. The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately. •respiratory distress, acute sensation of pressure/constriction in the chest, chest pain [congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, ventricular tachycardia] •headache, impaired consciousness, abdominal pain [bleeding (intracranial hemorrhage such as cerebral hemorrhage, pulmonary hemorrhage, gastrointestinal bleeding, nasal bleeding, fundal hemorrhage, etc.)] •pain in the pit of the stomach, tenderness, nausea [gastric/duodenal ulcer] •sore throat, headache, nasal/gum bleeding [pancytopenia, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia] •fever, dry cough, respiratory distress [interstitial pneumonia] The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine.
