药理作用
本品是一种新型非甾体抗炎止痛药，由脂溶性法呢醇与吲哚美辛经酯化形成，它能良好地分布于炎性组织，并显示高度的亲和力。口服本品后一部分可在炎症部位转化成为活性形式，即吲哚美辛。
药动学
5名健康志愿者于餐后1次口服200mg，大部分于血中呈原形药物被测出。血药达峰时间为5～6h，药物在24h后从血中消失。以200mg/次，2次/d连续应用后，未见有组织内蓄积，也未见到药动学参数改变。本品于禁食12h后应用，其吸收显著下降，于标准餐后应用则吸收可达饱和。本品口服给药200mg/次用于5名志愿者后，尿中未测出原形药物，可测出去苯甲酰基吲哚美辛(给药量的4.5%)、(2.9%)和去甲吲哚美辛(1.9%)。72h内的尿排出量约占给药量的10%。
适应证
类风湿性关节炎、增生性骨关节病、腰痛、肩关节周围炎及颈肩臂综合征。
禁忌证
孕妇或可能怀孕者禁用。
注意事项
有溃疡病或溃疡病病史；血运障碍；肝肾功能损害；对本品、吲哚美辛或水杨酸类化合物如阿司匹林等具高敏性者；心功能不全、高血压、胰腺炎；中枢神经系统疾病，如癫痫及帕金森病；支气管哮喘；全身性红斑狼疮；溃疡性结肠炎；克罗恩病及老年病人不宜使用。儿童的安全性尚未建立。用于慢性病人的进展期时(如类风湿关节炎、骨关节炎)应考虑行联合治疗，并定期行实验室检查。本品不应与其他消炎镇痛药合用。因本品可导致嗜睡和眩晕，应告诫病人避免做需注意力集中和有潜在危险性的工作。
不良反应
未见严重的并发症或实验室检查异常。主要的不良反应为胃肠道功能紊乱(9.9%)，尚见皮疹、面部水肿、瘙痒、眩晕和头晕等。实验室检查异常有转氨酶和BUN(血尿素氮)升高。胃肠道功能紊乱，如胃部不适或沉重感、胃痛等。偶有耳鸣、眩晕、头痛、心悸、水肿及疲倦等。
用法用量
口服：成人200mg/次，2次/d，一般在早晨和晚餐后服用，剂量可根据年龄及症状的严重程度适当调整。

物理化学的性状
インドメタシン ファルネシルは黄色澄明の油状の液体で、わずかに特異なにおいを有する。本品はアセトニトリル、アセトン、クロロホルム又はジエチルエーテルに極めて溶けやすく、エタノール(99.5)に溶けやすく、メタノールにやや溶けにくく、水にほとんど溶けない。
取扱い上の注意
1. カプセル100mgPTP包装は、アルミ袋開封後湿気を避けて保存すること。（なお、カプセル100mgは光によって変色することがあるため、PTPは着色フィルムを使用している。）
2. カプセル100mgバラ包装は、開栓後光を遮り湿気を避けて保存すること。
3. **Sカプセル200mgPTP包装は、アルミ袋開封後、バラ包装は開栓後、高温・湿気を避けて保存すること（カプセル皮膜の軟化及びPTPへのはりつきが起こることがある）。

Effects of this medicine
This medicine is absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract with remaining in harmless compound to the gastrointestinal tract, and migrates to the inflamed site. Then it releases its active ingredient, indometacin, at the inflamed site to reduce inflammation, and consequently relieves swelling and pain.
It is usually used to relieve inflammation and pain of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lumbago, periarthritis scapulohumeralis, and neck-shoulder-arm syndrome, etc.
Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist
If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rach, etc.) to any medicines.
If you are a patient with peptic ulcer (gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer) , hematological disorder, hepatic disorder, renal disorder, heart failure, hypertension, or pancreatitis.
If you are a patient with aspirin-induced asthma, or with a history of aspirin-induced asthma.
If you are taking triamterene (Triteren).
If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

In general, for adults, take 1 capsule (200 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, twice daily, after meal in the morning and evening. The dosage may be adjusted according to your disease, the age and symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions.
The medicine should be taken after meal or with milk since the absorption of the medicine will be decreased if you take it on an empty stomach.
If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as possible when you remember that you missed a dose. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should not take two doses at one time.
If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
Precautions while taking this medicine
The medicine may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Avoid driving a car or operating dangerous machinery after taking the medicine.
Possible adverse reactions to this medicine
The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash, itch, erythema, gastric discomfort, gastric pain, abdominal pain, anorexia and vomiting. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

Storage conditions and other information
