It also modulates endocrine and autonomic nervous systems. It is usually used to treat hyperlipidemia and to improve various symptoms associated with climacteric disturbance or irritable bowel syndrome. Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist •If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines. If you have liver disorder. •If you are pregnant or breastfeeding. •If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.) Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine) •Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is <<to be written by a healthcare professional>> •Hyperlipidemia: In general, for adults, take 0.5 g or 1 pack (100 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, three times daily after meals. •Somatic symptoms and anxiety, tension, and depression associated with psychosomatic disorder (climacteric disturbance, irritable bowel syndrome): In general, for adults, take 0.05 to a 0.25 g (10 to 50 mg of the active ingredient) per day. In any case, the dosage may be adjusted according to your disease, age or symptoms, but for irritable bowel syndrome the dosage is limited to a maximum of 0.25 g (50 mg of the active ingredient) per day. Strictly follow the instructions. •If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember it.
